《秃头歌女》此剧描写了一对典型的英国中产阶级夫妇与他们的朋友——另一对典型的英国中产阶级夫妇之间的无聊的对话。该剧彻底打破了传统的戏剧模式，以反戏剧的形式轰动了巴黎。尤奈斯库通过反复的夫妇对话，表述了他认为“人生是荒诞不经的”这种看法。看似无聊、平淡、荒唐的对话，却印证着他极深刻的人生体验，进而揭示出人类精神生活的空虚和相互之间的不理解。表现了“二战”后西方的一种精神危机和社会中人们走投无路的绝望观念。
The drama "Bald Singer" depicts a typical middle-class British couple and their friend, another typical middle-class British couple, in a boring conversation. The play completely broke the traditional theatrical model and caused a sensation in Paris in an anti theatrical form. Ionescoexpressed his view that 'life is absurd' through repeated couples' conversations. The seemingly boring, mundane, and absurd dialogue confirms his profound life experience, revealing the emptiness of human spiritual life and mutual incomprehension. It portrays a spiritual crisis in the West after World War II and the despairing notion of people in society having no way out.

欧仁·尤奈斯库，罗马尼亚裔法国剧作家，荒诞派戏剧最著名的代表剧作家之一。他的剧本不再像传统戏剧那样表达事物的意义，而是以漫画般的人物和极端的语言来反映变形的现实，以表现人生和世界的荒诞。代表作有《秃头歌女》、《犀牛》、《椅子》、《阿麦迪或脱身术》等。
Ionesco, a French playwright, is one of the most famous representative playwrights of the absurd theater. 洪天贻，毕业于伦敦大学中央演讲与戏剧学院高级剧场实践硕士专业，北京师范大学中文系本科。创作聚焦于日常生活的荒诞性。导演作品：《你喜欢高椰子树，还是矮椰子树?》、《百词斩》、《花园》、《幸运观众》、《房间里游泳》等。
