Focus on Antonio ligapol's dramatic life that shocked all of Italy. He showed his talent for painting since he was a child, but his childhood was very rough. His Italian parents illegally went to the German Swiss border to work part-time jobs. After his mother passed away, he was sent to a couple for adoption. However, his mental problems made him unpopular. As his identity problem was revealed, he was forced to be sent back to Italy. He wandered and drifted in and out of the mental hospital countless times, until he met a sculptor, began to learn painting and sculpture, and became an important plain art painter in the 20th century.

In the film industry, his first short film, Sailor's Chapel (1990), was selected in competition with numerous international festivals. In the 1993 he made almost a year, film for the TV produced by Ipotesi Cinema and Rai 1. His debut film, The Wind makes its rounds (2005), participates in over 60 National and International Festivals, winning over 36 awards. He received five nominations for David by Donatello 2008 and four nominations for Silver Tapes 2008.In the 2020 he directed Hidden Away, the film was presented at the Berlin Film Festival: the main interpreter of the film is Elio Germano, who for this role has won the Silver Bear to the best actor.
