法国作家亚历山大·小仲马创作的《茶花女》堪称世界文学的不朽珍宝，于20世纪后期被搬上芭蕾舞台，至今已有多个版本，备受世界各大芭蕾舞团的青睐。2019年，上海芭蕾舞团推出全新版本芭蕾舞剧《茶花女》，由上海芭蕾舞团艺术总监、英国芭蕾大师德里克·迪恩担任编导。

芭蕾舞剧《茶花女》以文学原作为创作蓝本，讲述了发生在法国七月王朝背景下的悲剧故事：为生计而沦为上流社会交际花的玛格丽特与男主角阿尔芒相爱，却因阶级身份的差异被拆散，贵族阶级道德观念的禁锢、诸多的误会和不解成为二人相爱的羁绊，玛格丽特最终患病离去。为突出故事的悲剧色彩和激烈的戏剧冲突，编导德里克运用倒叙的手法，以女主角玛格丽特生命的弥留之际作为故事的开端，由此引出玛格丽特与阿尔芒之间冲破世俗的、真挚热烈的却波折无奈的爱情，讲述了她充满悲剧色彩的人生。舞剧音乐由英国BBC《傲慢与偏见》的配乐人卡罗·戴维斯全新创作，涉足于歌剧、芭蕾、电影、电视作品作曲和配乐的他将带给舞剧强烈、丰满的戏剧渲染，打造全新的听觉世界。来自英国的舞美及服饰设计亚当·倪则通过多达60个品类数百件的硬景道具为芭蕾舞剧《茶花女》还原了19世纪法国上流社会及乡村的风貌。

在上海芭蕾舞团建团40周年之际，拥有自己版本的《茶花女》，把这部改编自经典名著的芭蕾舞剧纳入上芭的剧库，这是上芭专业化、国际化、市场化的充分体现。

剧情介绍

Scenario

第一幕

玛格丽特·戈蒂埃，法国巴黎红极一时的“社交明星”如今行将就木，医生和保姆已束手无策，病痛中的挣扎和幻觉侵蚀着她。她好像看到了自己的葬礼，看见了那些曾出现在自己生命中人，包括她的挚爱阿尔芒·迪瓦尔。幻影般的使者来了，要带她离世，但她却不愿随之而去……爱财如命的普吕珰丝和保姆把玛格丽特装扮一新，她重回巴黎社交圈，将短暂的一生从头述说。

那时的玛格丽特明艳动人，她频繁地出现在舞会上、酒会中、剧院里，巴黎的贵族公子纷纷拜倒在她的裙摆下，包括一位公爵、一位男爵以及她的至交好友盖斯顿。某晚的芭蕾演出后，她邂逅了阿尔芒·迪瓦尔，又一个为她的绝世美貌所倾倒的年轻人。玛格丽特看不上他带来的甜点，将他徒然留在颓丧之中。即便遭到了这样的冷遇，阿尔芒还是疯狂地爱上了她，每晚守候在她的屋外。当阿尔芒得知，看似光鲜亮丽的玛格丽特其实患有重病，对她的爱慕与怜惜不由越发强烈。

两人再次相遇是在一个舞会上，共舞之际，玛格丽特发现自己真的爱上了阿尔芒，两人终于坠入爱河。

阿尔芒担心玛格丽特的身体健康，希望她离开社交圈，并共同到乡下开始新生活。玛格丽特知道离开了这里就不会再有经济支持，但还是欣然同往。乡下的生活变得越发艰难，玛格丽特只能变卖所剩的珠宝，而阿尔芒则向她保证，将用自己继承的遗产来维持他们的生活。

在阿尔芒回巴黎处理遗产继承的日子里，阿尔芒的父亲意外到访，老迪瓦尔请求玛格丽特离开自己的儿子。玛格丽特为了成全爱人无奈写下分手信，却在老迪瓦尔离开后痛悔不已……

Act 1

The French courtesan Marguerite Gautier is almost at the end of her life. Being at the final stage of her illness,she is visited by the ghosts of her past, as her doctor and her faithful maid Nanine try desperately to pacify her. She hallucinates her own funeral procession, with antagonists from her life, and the return of her lover Armand Duval. In her mind an Angel appears to take her away but she refuses to go. She is not ready, yet…

Brought back to life by the ever fortune-seeking Prudence and Nanine, she returns to being the toast of Paris society, being courted by a Duke, a Baron and the ever-faithful Gaston, three of the many men overwhelmed by her beauty. Every night is a swirl of entertainment, parties, theatre and the Opera. One evening at a ballet performance, she meets and encourages the attentions of Armand Duval, a handsome young man who instantly falls for her beauty and charms. She toys with his affections when presented with a bag of sugared almonds. She humiliates him in front of her friends and leaves him in bewilderment. Albeit treated with such unkindness, Armand falls heavily in love, unable to think of anyone else but his beautiful Marguerite.

Armand is seen night after night outside the house where Marguerite lives. He stands in the rain and through her window he sees the truth. Her illness. A woman gravely hiding her condition from the world. His love and adoration of her increases.

On meeting again at yet another of the endless rounds of parties, as she dances with Armand, Marguerite realises that she is starting to have deeper feelings for him. The two fall passionately in love.

Armand persuades Marguerite to leave Paris and start a new life in the countryside for the good of her health. She agrees but is cautious about giving up her past life. After some time, life becomes difficult, and Marguerite has to sell her jewellery. Armand leaves promising her that he will use his inheritance to support their lives.

Whilst Armand is away Marguerite is visited by his father, Mr. Duval, who pleads with Marguerite to give up his son. He persuades her to write him a letter to end their relationship. Finally agrees to do as asked, Marguerite is left alone bereft and desperately unhappy with what she has done…

第二幕

巴黎上流社会，美女如云。玛格丽特离开后，奥琳普自认成为了社交圈的新宠。在一个盛大的聚会上，玛格丽特挽着一位富商在众人惊愕的眼神中重新登场，并再度遇见了阿尔芒。

玛格丽特竭力地想要无视阿尔芒的存在。争风吃醋的奥琳普与阿尔芒共舞，在玛格丽特面前做戏引她嫉妒。当所有人退到别处，剩下玛格丽特独自一人，无人问津。此时阿尔芒来了，玛格丽特哀求他的谅解，回到自己身边。阿尔芒假意和好，并要求玛格丽特放弃所有财富和他在一起。玛格丽特痛下决心答应了他的要求，岂知阿尔芒早有预谋，竟在众人面前羞辱了她，并丢下她写的分手信，扬长而去。玛格丽特遭到爱人的背弃，沦为整个巴黎的笑柄，声名狼藉。

听闻阿尔芒即将远走他乡，重病在身的玛格丽特决定再见爱人一面，最后一次挽留爱人的心，却事与愿违……

玛格丽特的生命即将走到终点，记忆中的人、事、物如同幻影出现在眼前。天使向她张开双臂，这一次她不再抵抗，迎着他向天堂和安息走去……

Act2

Paris is in full swing. With Marguerite in disgrace Olympe is the Queen of Paris, or so she thinks. At a grand party Marguerite suddenly reappears on the arm of a rich benefactor. Society is shocked by her return. Seeing that Armand is there Marguerite tries desperately to ignore him.Olympe, furious at Marguerite’s return, dances together with Armand, indicating she and Armand are now together, to provoke Marguerite’s jealousy. As everyone retires to another room to play cards, Marguerite is left alone, inconsolable. Armand returns and she begs him to forgive her for writing the letter and leaving him. Armand is not so forgiving and tricks her into believing that if she gives up all her wealth and changes her life they can be together again. She readily agrees. In front of the entire Paris society he takes his revenge. Knocking her down and throwing money at her, he then gives back the letter that she had written to him. She is betrayed and becomes the laughing stock of Paris with her reputation in tatters.

Armand decides to leave Paris. Desperately ill, Marguerite comes after him in the hope of one last chance of forgiveness, but it is not to be… Armand leaves.

As Marguerite’s own death approaches, all the ghosts of her past reappear to haunt her. The angel appears to welcome her into his arms, she is ready to die... she surrenders herself to the inevitable. Heaven and peace await.
