【作品介绍】

我们身处于信息的洪流当中,时代浮光掠影,催促着每个人仓惶的脚步。

五千年前良渚文明应运而生,以自己的双手建造了生命的根基,生活的轮廓。

时至今日,文明成为一双洞穿世事的眼睛,透过时光凝望现在,让我们重新审视文明的进程、生命的意义,人与自然的关系。

几何形状的构景与舞台数字化新媒体技术共同构成了虚实交错的当下,舞者成为了漂浮于云端的精灵,轻盈灵动、透彻隽永,行星一般在纷扰世事中找寻自己的轨迹。从良渚人在土地上踩下第一个脚印开始,文明开启了纵贯五千年的清晰脉络。我们在历史中找到回忆的落点,便不会于光怪陆离的当下迷失方向。

对镜自问,是时代的声音,字字句句如同高空回响。

你找寻答案时,答案就在你手心里。

【演出亮点】

「一封五千年前的来信」

天地混沌渐开,良渚文化萌生。当时的语言已经散落在历史中,留存至今的玉琮讲述着文明先声,印证古人如何创造、如何生活,如何建立起完整的社会秩序,从无序走向有序。

《穹顶》聚焦于此,以后人姿态好奇、想象过去和未来的文化,探讨五千年前的良渚留下了怎样的文化积淀,又怎样存在于五千年后的世界中。从创世开始,回望故乡。舞蹈恰是非常适合表达这一切的语言,所有文明的进程、生命的意义、人与自然的关系,都被书写在人的身体之内。

古人崇神尚玉,今人访天叩地,都在同一片天空下来回。穹顶代表一种上帝视角,俯首不见故土,抬头见穹顶却五千年依旧。

「古今共存,新媒体与舞剧的碰撞」

《穹顶》以时间为线,将千年时光压缩在一方舞台上,融合、碰撞,快速的表达节奏,新媒体技术、艺术装置,都传递出一种突破传统的新媒体融合舞剧风格。运用现代舞编舞的铺排构思、动作编排,加上数字化多媒体影像技术的视觉冲击力,突破现代舞的固有印象,建立起一个微观世界,给观众全新的感官体验。

立方光源在空中,与舞蹈的节奏形成律动呼应。在寂静漆黑的时空中,光映着投影出的水波纹,孕育出生命之河。水、火、宫殿、机器……视觉影像赋予《穹顶》更多元的艺术语汇,在科技时代进行人性探讨,在景观中呈现人的认知变迁与代际进化。

「跨界创作,多样化风格的相遇」

虽然以良渚文化为载体,《穹顶》并不是一部“古”的舞剧,相反,它相当“新”,导演&编剧王梦,总编导张曦在忠于历史的基础上,用跨界融合的手法去展现舞蹈作品。

十四位专业舞者,将世间万物浓缩于身,展现以舞。编导兼舞者的王俊戋跨界于舞蹈、戏剧、声音艺术、材料装置、影像等领域,而同样身兼编导和舞者两职的张强是杭州歌剧舞剧院的首席演员、编导,曾工作于北京当代芭蕾舞团。

《穹顶》的全剧音乐则由陈喆和汪圆清量身打造,他们同样致力于跨领域的融合创作,在先锋技术与审美经验的营造中,不断挑起“声音”作为主体对象在时间范畴内的“自知”。

【剧情】

第一阶:《创·世》

宇宙初生,万物混沌。

5000年前,良渚文明出现在华夏土地,

如同彗星到来的那一夜,生命的奇迹纳入了宇宙运行的规律。

从有人的那一刻起,便有了光。

第二阶:《启·示》

天圆地方,既象地方,又象天圆。

良渚人向世界发问,又用自己的双手求得解答。

那一份神性的启迪,是通往未来的力量。

第三阶:《源·流》

天为父,水为母。

良渚现存最早的大型水利工程,

是河流裹挟着汩汩生命,给予人类最温柔的馈赠。

第四阶:《宫·城》

有郡成国,有人成群。

屋宇林立、道路交通,城邦兴起。

头脑规划了城邦,身体构建了宫殿,古老的秩序建立,如同人体的血肉骨骼,自有天然的运行规律,向外枝节纵生,文明滋长交错,向内平稳蕴藉,自由灵魂在交互中迸发火花。

第五阶:《问·境》

五千年时光,疏忽转瞬。

科技承载了人类的记忆、思想、身体的边界被机械冲散,现实的框架与虚拟融合。“我们何以为人”成了时代的天问。

何处追寻,唯有回眸。

第六阶:《溯·望》

确凿的过去成为穿透岁月的双眼,凝望着人类在时光的重压下蹒跚前行。

唯有如同良渚文明这般灿烂的过去,才能让现在变得有迹可循,

向自然长开怀抱,找寻万物有灵的踪迹,创造厚重却崭新的文明历程。

有心灵的归处,才有广博的未来。

上海国际舞蹈中心剧场青年孵化平台是为具有成长性和发展空间的国内青年舞蹈艺术家搭建的交流及展示平台。该平台由上海国际舞蹈中心剧场发起并筹建,旨在为优秀的青年舞蹈家们提供创作资源、经费、宣传,以及交流学习的机会,促进发展、催化创新,为中国本土原创舞蹈作品进一步走出国门、走向世界提供新的平台。

Introduction

We are in the flood of information, and the times are floating, urging everyone's hasty steps.

Five thousand years ago, the Liangzhu civilization came existed and built the foundation of life and the outline of life with its own hands.

Nowadays, civilization has become a pair of eyes that penetrate into the world, gazing at the present through time, allowing us to re-examine the process of civilization, the meaning of life, and the relationship between mankind and nature.

The geometry of the composition and the digital new media technology of the stage together constitute the interplay of reality and reality in the present, and the dancers become elves floating in the clouds, light and agile, penetrating and timeless, and the planets generally find their own trajectory in the troubled world. Starting from the first footprints of the Liangzhu people on the land, civilization has opened a clear vein that spans five thousand years. We will not lose our way in the light of the present if we find the landing point of our memories in history.

Asking ourselves in the mirror is the voice of the times, and the words echo like a high altitude.

When you look for the answer, the answer is in your hand.

Highlight

"A Letter From 5,000 Years Ago"

The chaos of heaven and earth gradually opened up, and Liangzhu culture sprang up. The language of that time has been scattered in history, and the jade scepters that have survived to this day tell the precursors of civilization, testifying how the ancients created and lived, and how they established a complete social order, moving from disorder to order.

Focusing on this, "The Dome" is a curious and imaginative look at the past and future cultures in a posthuman posture, exploring what kind of cultural deposits Liangzhu left behind 5,000 years ago and how they will exist in the world 5,000 years later. Starting from the creation of the world, we look back at our homeland. Dance is precisely the most suitable language to express all this. All the processes of civilization, the meaning of life, and the relationship between man and nature are written within the human body.

The ancients revered the gods and exalted the jade, while the present-day people visit the sky and knock on the earth, all coming back to the same sky. The dome represents a kind of God's perspective, looking down and not seeing the homeland, but looking up and seeing the dome remains the same for 5,000 years.

"The Coexistence Of Ancient And Modern, The Collision Of New Media And Dance Theater"

The Dome" takes time as the line, compressing thousands of years on one side of the stage, fusion, collision, rapid expression rhythm, new media technology, art installation, all convey a breakthrough of traditional new media fusion dance theater style.

The use of contemporary choreography of laying out ideas and movement choreography, coupled with the visual impact of digital multimedia video technology, breaks through the inherent impression of contemporary and establishes a microcosm, giving the audience a new sensory experience.

The cubic light source is in the air, forming a rhythmical echo with the rhythm of the dance. In the silence and darkness of time and space, the light reflects the projected water ripples, giving birth to the river of life. Water, fire, palaces, machines ...... visual images give "The Dome" a more diverse artistic vocabulary, explore human nature in the age of technology, and present human cognitive changes and intergenerational evolution in the landscape.

"Cross-border creation, the encounter of diverse styles"

Although Liangzhu culture is the carrier, The Dome is not an "ancient" dance drama, rather, it is quite "new".

Fourteen professional dancers condense everything in the world into their bodies and present it in dance. Choreographer-director and dancer Wang Jun crosses over into the fields of dance, theater, sound art, material installation, and video, while Zhang Qiang, who is also both choreographer-director and dancer, is a principal performer and choreographer of Hangzhou Opera and Dance Theater and worked for Beijing Contemporary Ballet.

The music of "The Dome" was created by Chen Che and Wang Yuanqing, who are also committed to cross-disciplinary fusion, creating a pioneering technical and aesthetic experience, and constantly provoking the "self-knowledge" of "sound" as a subject object in time.

Plot

The first stage: Creation - World

The universe was first born, and everything was chaotic.

5000 years ago, Liangzhu civilization appeared in the land of China, just like the night the comet arrived, the miracle of life was incorporated into the laws of the universe.

From the moment there were people, there was light.

The second stage: The Enlightenment-Show

Heaven and earth are both like a place and like the circle of heaven.

Liangzhu people ask questions to the world and seek answers with their own hands.

That one divine enlightenment is the power to the future.

The third stage: Source - Flow

Heaven is the father and water is the mother.

The earliest surviving large-scale water conservancy project in Liangzhu is the most gentle gift given to mankind by rivers wrapped in bubbling life.

The fourth stage: Palace - City

There are counties into countries and people into groups.

Buildings are set up, road traffic, and city-states rise up.

The head plans the city-state, the body builds the palace, and the ancient order is established, just like the flesh and blood of the human body, which has its own natural laws of operation, with outward branches and nodes, civilization grows and intertwines, and inward smoothly, the free soul bursts in the interaction.

The fifth stage: Asking - Realm

Five thousand years of time, negligent transient.

Technology carries human memories, thoughts, and the boundaries of the body are mechanically dispersed, and the framework of reality is fused with the virtual. The question of "what makes us human" has become the question of the times.

The only way to find out is to look back.

The Sixth Stage: Retrospective - Looking

The conclusive past has become the eyes that penetrate the years, staring at human beings stumbling forward under the weight of time.

The only way to make the present traceable is to have such a splendid past as Liangzhu civilization, to open the arms of nature, to find the traces of the spirit of all things, and to create a thick but new civilization course.

There is a place for the mind to return to, and only then can there be a broad future.

YOUTH INCUBATION PLATFORM

Shanghai International Dance Center Theater Youth Incubation Platform (hereinafter referred to as "youth incubation platform") is platform for young dance artists in China who have room for growth and development to communicate and display, sponsored and established by the Shanghai International Dance Center Theater. It provides creative resources, funding, publicity and exchange and learning opportunities for outstanding young dancers, promoting development and catalyzing innovation. It provides a new window for Chinese src dance works to go out of the country and into the world.

Guided by Shanghai municipal instructions for art centers, following countermeasures are implemented by Shanghai International Dance Center Theatre to prevent COVID-19 virus:

  1. Pre-sale: Only 50% of the tickets will be available for each performance during the first round of pre-sale period.
  2. Tickets purchasing: Please select your seats online and both e-tickets and printed tickets by mail will be valid.
  3. Ticket claim: Please get your tickets before the performance date or 90 minutes before the performance and follow our staff’s guidance to keep social distance.
  4. Entering time: The audience can start to enter the auditorium 60 minutes before the performance starts.
  5. Validation:

Please show your TRAVEL CODE and SHANGHAI QR CODE at the main entrance, and walk past the Digital Sentinel in turn. Audiences are required to provide a negative PCR test result issued within 72 hours. Please wear a face mask to enter the theater.The proof of PCR test awaiting result will not be accepted.
